A prayer for all of us... pray for my husband...

The glorious majesty and beauty of our God!

+++++++++++++++++

Precious Lord,

We women desire a closer walk with You. Allow Your Word to speak to the very depths of our souls. Soak our spirits with wonder and awe. Fill us with love unspeakable. Let it drench us with peace unfathomable. Let it water those dry and thirsty places in our lives with such overflowing abundance.

We seek Your Presence with all that we are. Oh, Father, as we search for You, help us to find You. We long to bask in the shadow of Your glorious splendor.

As You lovingly tuck us under your protective wing, nestle us close in the sweet comfort of your unconditional love.

We long to hear your mighty voice. We long to feel your gentle but powerful touch.

We yearn for our hearts to beat in tandem with yours. We want the cry of our hearts to resound with the echoes of your heart.

As we search the scriptures, speak to us through your written word. Give us the discernment to know your voice and hear from you. Give us that desire to obey you.

Grow us, Lord. Fill us so full that the overflow just bubbles forth and envelopes others. Pour in that we may pour out.

We want to be women after your heart. We want to be servants used mightily in your kingdom.

Meet with us, Lord. Meet with us in such a way that we experience a true and life-changing encounter. Help us to discover new things. Help us to uncover old truths. Help us dare to be different.

Oh, Lord, send your presence to cover and protect us. Intrigue us. Delight us. Empower us.

Use us for the glory of You.  May all we do and all we say only bring You honor and glory.

We love you Lord and we give you all the praise that is due You.

In your precious and holy name, Amen.

As I write this post, my sweet fella (Jimbo) is 4 1/2 hours away from landing in Mumbai, India. They left almost 24 hours ago and I know that they are exhausted. He will then have another 2 short airplane trips to reach their final destination which I cannot disclose. Please be in prayer for this team that will be ministering in some very dangerous and volatile places. They will be working about 18 hours a day on the ground doing various types of ministry. They will be discipling new christian men and helping the set up churches and helping to teach them how to disciple others. One of the churches that this group helped to build a few years ago, was just recently burned by arsonists. The pastor and his wife were locked inside the church and the congregation was forced to watch the burn alive. PLEASE pray for my husband and the others. They are literally risking their lives and they are doing it only for the glory of God. Pray for their protection and pray for God to work mightily through them during their trip.

Thank you so much!
Beth

Beth,

As I sat here praying for Jimbo and his group the Lord fell and I began praying Isaiah 61 over all of them....HE is preparing the way and I believe will do MIGHTY things for HIS people.....all of them!

HE IS going before and behind them. HE IS protecting them. He IS anointing each one even now. He IS binding their broken hearts and setting them free !!
Glory be to God.....LET IT BE LORD...LET IT BE

Praying for your sweet Jimbo. I think you know from my blog how burdened my heart is for those in India. I will continue to lift Jimbo and those with him up as they are so diligently doing the Lord's work...

Father God,
May hearts be broken for You, may eyes be opened to you and may minds be ready to comprehend that You alone sent salvation for us and that only You alone can provide us a better way. Amen.

Oh Beth,
I'm praying for Jim and for you and the other wives and families. May God richly bless them on this trip and may they see many come to know Christ as they minister boldly for the Kingdom.

How many went?

I'll be praying sister!!

Love you,

What boldness and courage!

I pray they'll be invisible to the evil eyes that would harm them; invincible in the Lord's work; and invigorated by the receiving of His Gospel of the many!

Blessings,
Kathleen

Oh YES! I, too, can and will be praying for this God-ordained team to enter into this territory where God already is. He has prepared the way with His Legions of Angels, 12,000 angels, and they are there protecting.
Jesus said, "Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels?" Matthew 26:56
We know He does, can, and will!
And I say Amen to your beautiful prayer, Beth.
I love you, ~ linda

Beth,
I know when my husband leaves on a trip it is hard to be left behind...to worry and take care of everyone and everything at home...I will be praying for Jimbo and for you also. I know he is in God's mighty arms of protection! And that you will have a peace and sense of God's arms around Jimbo! I have always wanted to go on a missions trip like that!

Oh Lord I pray that you would send angels ahead of this team and to surround them as a covering of protection for them. Give them success in forwarding your Kingdom and bring them home safely to their families. In the Might Name of Jesus I pray.

I am so proud of what your husband and this team is doing. A true testimony of putting God first.

Much love to you my friend.

Beth:

I loved your prayer post and this was my favorite paragraph where you wrote:

"Grow us, Lord. Fill us so full that the overflow just bubbles forth and envelopes others. Pour in that we may pour out."

Yes, Growing - not just changing!! Pouring out what He's poured into our lives! You exemplify this post!

I'm praying for your husband and the team that are there. I know the dangers first hand from being in a rural foreign country - especially when you are not fluent with the language. But there is a 'pleasing sacrifice' to the Lord in what Jimbo and the team are doing. They are willing to take that risk to bring help, and the gospel to the uttermost parts of the world.

Beth,
Thank you for such an anointed prayer! Moved my heart very deeply, dear Sister!

I will continually lift Jimbo and the team up in prayer!

Father God,
I thank you and praise You that You make a way where there seems no way. You have already gone before Jimbo and the team and I thank you that angels are on assignment to keep and protect each one of them as they do the work of the Father. Oh Lord, I stand upon your promise that no weapon formed against them will prosper! Strengthen their bodies and wash them in your peace. May they see and know that your Mighty Hand is moving in and upon them every moment of this outreach. Protect them and their families and ministries at home. May the Peace that passes all understanding encompass them as they rest in You! In Jesus Mighty Name!!

Sweet Blessings!
Jackie

I am praying, literally in my prayer corner, here in my living room - as soon as I send this comment. Praying for God's hand of protection to be upon this group, asking the Lord to bridge hatred, with His Love. Asking Him to close doors of seeing eyes, of those that want to bring harm to His people. Find comfort, and peace in the sheltered arms of God, my sister. He is all knowing, all seeing, Omnipotent God.. Going to my corner now to leave you all at the feet of Jesus.
