the Cross demands more

The Cross speaks for itself.

Suffering
Sacrifice
Agony
Pain
Death
Unconditional, unending,unfathomable Love
Immeasurable and immutable Love
Glory
Grace
Mercy
Freedom
Forgiveness
Redemption

The Cross that our precious Savior was crucified on, demands so much more of us than we are sometimes willing to give.
It demands a sacrifice on our part.
 It demands service for others.
It demands brokenness, sanctification, and holiness.
It demands our all.

The Cross - where worship began.
It demands truth.
It demands repentance.

The Cross was a cruel place that had a wonderful ending.

Power
Hope
Peace
Eternal Life

The Cross is a place of seeking and finding.
Searching and growing.
Death and life.

We need to cherish the Cross.
Embrace our Savior.
Marvel at our Creator.
Praise His Name.
Worship our King.

He is worthy of all our praise.
He is worthy of all.
He is worthy.
He is.

"And when they had come to the place called Calvary,
there they crucified Him......."
(Luke 23:33)

Love this. So true and so beautiful. He saw the beauty of us enough to save us. May we all see and remember the beauty of the cross.

Beth,

I love how all the words from the top to the bottom for a perfect cross with a great meaning from beginning to end. Let us all remember our lives were not without a cost to be paid.

I feel that the last week in Haiti has been a walk to the foot of the Cross.

It does demand more than I have given and I feel it now more than ever.

Shalom,
Denise

Beth:

That was absolutely beautiful. I think God has gifted you with a poetic soul and certainly the words to express it. And, the cross... can we ever say enough? We owe our very lives to what He did there for us. Easter always brings me first sadness, and then such joy!

Thank you for this.

Hugs!

Amen

Can we ever say enough? Will we ever truly grasp the Love....One day...YES I know when we see HIM face to face and just sit, or take hold of, or kneel, or just marvel, oh to see HIS face and to know the depth of the price HE paid for YOU and for ME....

I love your heart and I love you

The cross demands, and the cross gives. And I am so thankful!

How blessed I was to read this and take in ALL that the CROSS IS!

It also demands a RESPONSE!
All that we WERE - all that we ARE - all that we WILL BE is wrapped up in the CROSS.

The blessings you received last weekend are pouring out of you now!
