Let's Give Him Praise as we Worship

Sunday is my favorite day of the week. I look forward to this day of worship and praise. I pray today that as we are about to enter into worship with our Lord and King, that we will prepare our hearts and our minds. We will enter the sanctuary with our heart wide open ready to receive a Word and ready to give of ourselves in praise.

Let's praise Him with everything that we have! Let's lift our hands high and give Him the glory and honor that He so deserves. Let's reach up to Him with our hands like our children do to us when they are small and want us to hold them.

I pray today will be a day of healing and restoration to our souls. A day that we recommit ourselves to the futhering of His kingdom. A day that we reconnect with a Holy God. A day of inner examination.

"So that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints." (1 Thessalonians 3:13)

Amen Beth, I really liked the part when you said reach up to him like small children do when they want to be held. Oh how wonderful to be picked up by God and held in his arms.

I have missed all of my blogger sistahs,I have been going through a spiritual warfare for a while but I am back and stronger.

He is a God of healing [James 5:13-16] and restoration [Isaiah 61:1-4]. The CROSS makes Him both!! I love it! I love Him! And I love Sunday too - so much! Corproate worship time!!!

Bless you and your husband as you serve together in ministry!

Choosing JOY,
Stephanie

How true! It's only a wonder what blessing will come our way if we enter into church, wanting and willing to learn and to correct behavior if necessary.

Beth,
What a wonderful reminder of how special Sunday is. It seems I must remind myself (A LOT)to take a Sabbath rest. I prayed for you today for wellness and health! Hope you can join Monday Manna. It takes place every other Monday Manna, so it won't happen next Monday. Blessings sister!

Hi Beth,

So nice to meet you! I just found your blog.

I'm from La too! And I used to play the flute. Do you still play?

I also love Beth Moore. I just finished Living Free. I'm so blessed God is setting you free.

I'll be back!
