Believing God through the Tough Times - Steps of Faith

Steps of Faith
Thank you Lisa for hosting this.

Sometimes life throws things at us that catch us off guard. Sometimes we see it coming and just haven’t taken the steps necessary to prepare. Sometimes things just happen. Sometimes life happens.

I see so many hurting families through my blogging endeavor. So many sick babies and children. So many women that are carrying babies with problems and defects. So many women that are dealing with infertility. So many women that have lost babies, children and loved ones. So many people facing hardship. So many people that need Jesus in a mighty way. I see things that people are dealing with that they shouldn’t have to deal with. I see people having to pick up the pieces of brokenness when they deserve wholeness. I see hurting hearts. I see wounded souls. I see emptiness that needs to be filled.

There is only one solution to being able to deal with any of these issues. There is only one answer to any of these problems.

God.

He is, He can, He will, He does, He heals, He restores, He rebuilds, He fills.

I am believing God that I will always remember who He is and what He has done for me and what He promises in His Word.

I desire to do nothing less than bring him glory and honor through my life.

I desire to be nothing less than what He has purposed for me to be.

I desire to give Him nothing less than what He deserves from me.

I desire to be…

An Instrument 4 His Glory.

I am believing God with you! May He never let us become complacent; but always chasing after His glory until we instruments of His glory.

Thank You for joinging this week.

You always leave me so blessed when I read what you write. If we ever get to the point that we feel comfortable right where we are at...we have lost sight of His path for us!

Be blessed my sweet friend!

I stand in agreement as well, Beth.

God is who He says He is.
God can do what He says He can do.
I am who God says I am.
I can do all things through Christ.
God's word is alive and active in me.

I'm believing God.

Lovingly,
Yolanda

This post blessed me today! (as usual)

I had already read a couple of things this morning before coming to your blog, about believing God and not being afraid.

I just love when God tells me something specific over and over.

Isn't it great that we'll get a chance to meet in person (along with precious Yolanda) in Jan. in Houston?!!

Have a great weekend, Beth!
Love,
Valerie

All of Him and None of me!! There is nothing too hard for God.

"But without faith [it is] impossible to please [Him], for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and [that] He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." (Hebrews 11:6)

Our church here in NJ will be hosting the last part of the 3-day long viewing and funeral services for a young 19 year old man, Brad Iorio, from our own church who was killed in Iraq last week - after being there less than one week.

His family does not know Christ. Life [and death] happens. It sends us the unexpected - the good and the bad. Though this death is ultimitely GOOD because Brad knew Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord, his death was final victory. He was commissioned by one of our elders a few weeks ago upon leaving and told that elder that he was scared and afraid that he might not return. He came home alright - home to heaven - his final home.

Yes, life happens. Death happens too. Brad's desire would have been for his family to know Christ. One person has already come to Christ since his death and hopefully many more will too - so that his life and death was not in vain.

Thanks for this post on the reality of life!

Choosing JOY,
Stephanie

I'm in week 5 of Beth Moore's "Believing God" study, It has been so challenging to my faith. The 5 points we recite while holding up our right hand, a finger at a time is: God is Who He says He is. 2. God can do what He says He can do. 3. I am who God says I am. 4. I can do all things through Christ
5. God's Word is alive and active in me.
I'm believing God!!!
